• Add dynamic variables such as Customer Name, Document Number, Document Date, Due Date, Amount, Currency, Business Name, and Document Link - Refrens automatically fills in the right details for every document.

• Save different variants for different situations - for example, a standard invoice email, a payment follow-up, or a detailed quotation message.
• Edit, duplicate, deactivate, or reuse templates anytime as your communication changes.

• Use column names in formulas: Instead of figuring out references like B1*C1, you can now create formulas using familiar column names such as {Length}*{Width}.
• Rearrange columns freely: Move columns around in your invoice without affecting the calculation.
• Rename columns without redoing formulas: Your formulas stay connected to the right fields even when you change their names.
• Existing formulas continue to work: You don’t need to recreate formulas in your older documents.

For example, if you bill customers based on area, you can simply create: {Length} × {Width} to calculate the area automatically.

You can then rename or rearrange these columns whenever you need, and the formula will continue to calculate correctly.

This means your customer details can flow into Refrens without first creating an invoice, quotation, or lead.

Businesses operating across multiple Indian states can now map Shopify orders to different Refrens businesses based on the customer’s shipping state:

With Business Mapping, you can:

1. Select a default Refrens business for all unmatched, non-India, or address-missing orders.
2. Create state-wise routing rules, such as Delhi → Delhi business and Haryana → Haryana business.
3. Connect multiple Refrens businesses to the same Shopify store.
4. Automatically create invoices in the business mapped to the customer’s shipping state.
5. Ensure payments, refunds, cancellations, and credit notes continue to be recorded in the same business where the original invoice was created.

How to set it up:

Open the Refrens app in Shopify → go to Configurations → Business Mapping → select the Default Business → add state-wise routing rules → save the configuration.

• Udyam Number: Add it for your own business as well as for clients and vendors.

• LUT and IEC: Add these details for your own business under Additional IDs.

• Invoice visibility: You can choose whether these IDs should be shown on invoices.

• Field validation: Refrens validates the format of each ID to help prevent incorrect entries.

• Optional: Udyam, LUT, and IEC are all optional to add.

How to add them:

While creating documents, just go to the Billed To/Billed By Section > Edit > Tax Information > Add Additional IDs.
