    Key Updates:

    • Change the order of menu items with the drag and drop option ⚙️
    • Show important menu items at the top with the starred option ⭐️
    • Reset it anytime!

    What's More:

    Sidebar customization is saved separately for each team member.

    So, even within the same business, each person can organize the sidebar based on their own work.

    For example, a sales team member may keep Sales CRM, Quotations, and Invoices at the top, while someone in accounting may prefer Accounting, Bank & Payments, and GST Reports first. This helps every team member keep the most relevant sections easy to access.

    How to use it

    Just Click the pen icon at the bottom of the sidebar to get started!

  2. Custom Fields in Documents: Make Them Searchable OR Mandatory

    Improvement

    You can now make the custom fields added inside your documents more powerful with two new capabilities: Searchable Custom Fields and Mandatory Custom Fields.

    1) Searchable Custom Fields

    The custom fields you add inside documents can now be made searchable.

    This means your team can quickly find documents using values entered in those fields, such as Project ID, PO Number, Department Code, or Reference Number:

    This makes it easier to track records, organise documents, and search faster without manually opening multiple entries.

    2) Mandatory Custom Fields

    You can also mark selected custom fields as mandatory.

    Once enabled, users will not be able to save the document unless those fields are filled in.

    This helps ensure important information is never missed and keeps your documents more complete, consistent, and reliable for internal tracking and reporting.

  3. Improved Graphs: Smoother Visuals, Currency Formatting & Interactive Features ✨

    We’ve made significant improvements to the document dashboard graphs to make your data more readable, interactive, and visually appealing:

    What’s new:

    • Smoother Visuals: We’ve smoothened the charts, making them more visually appealing with a new, refined design.
    • Currency Formatting: Invoice amounts are now better formatted based on your business’s currency settings. For example, INR amounts will be shown in Lakhs or Crores, while USD amounts will be displayed in Millions or Billions.
    • Enhanced Tooltips: Tooltips now show calculated metrics like Outstanding Amount and Overpayment, with color coding (red for outstanding and green for overpayment) for better clarity.
    • Zoom & Pan Controls: You can now zoom and pan across the timeseries using an interactive brush, making it easier to explore time-based data. Adjust the timeline and view data at different time intervals effortlessly.

    With AI OCR Scanning for sales invoices, you can now easily upload invoices created outside of Refrens and have them automatically recorded in your system - just like our Purchase OCR feature:

    • Upload Your Sales Invoices: Effortlessly upload invoices (PDF, PNG, JPEG) created outside of Refrens.
    • Auto-Detect Information: The system will automatically extract relevant details to generate the invoice.
    • Easy Verification: Compare the scanned invoice with the system-generated draft side-by-side to ensure accuracy.
    • Automatic Draft Creation: Once verified, the system will automatically create a draft invoice based on the uploaded document.

  5. Send Recurring Invoices from Your Own Email/WhatsApp No.

    Now, when sending recurring invoices, you can choose whether to send them from your own email or your own WhatsApp number:

    Additionally, for emails, you can add CC emails for additional recipients, track email status to know when your invoice is opened, and also customize who should receive email receipts.

    You can now add Due Dates to your Purchase Orders (PO) to clearly track when items are expected to arrive.

    You will also be able to filter POs by Due Dates from your PO dashboard.

    This helps you plan inventory, avoid stock gaps, and maintain better coordination with suppliers.
