Custom Fields in Documents: Make Them Searchable OR Mandatory
You can now make the custom fields added inside your documents more powerful with two new capabilities: Searchable Custom Fields and Mandatory Custom Fields.
1) Searchable Custom Fields

The custom fields you add inside documents can now be made searchable.
This means your team can quickly find documents using values entered in those fields, such as Project ID, PO Number, Department Code, or Reference Number:

This makes it easier to track records, organise documents, and search faster without manually opening multiple entries.
2) Mandatory Custom Fields

You can also mark selected custom fields as mandatory.
Once enabled, users will not be able to save the document unless those fields are filled in.
This helps ensure important information is never missed and keeps your documents more complete, consistent, and reliable for internal tracking and reporting.
