Custom Formulas Just Got Easier to Use

We’ve improved Custom Formulas in Refrens to make them easier to create and safer to customize:

What's New:

Use column names in formulas: Instead of figuring out references like B1*C1, you can now create formulas using familiar column names such as {Length}*{Width}.
Rearrange columns freely: Move columns around in your invoice without affecting the calculation.
Rename columns without redoing formulas: Your formulas stay connected to the right fields even when you change their names.
Existing formulas continue to work: You don’t need to recreate formulas in your older documents.

For example, if you bill customers based on area, you can simply create: {Length} × {Width} to calculate the area automatically.

You can then rename or rearrange these columns whenever you need, and the formula will continue to calculate correctly.
