You can do that by adding a new column while creating an invoice.

While creating an invoice you will see a "Rename/Add Fields" option. You can click on that to create a new column as per your requirement.

Also, once you add the "Unit of Measurement" column, it will automatically show up every time you create a new Quotation or Invoice! (you can remove that from the "Rename/Add fields" option whenever you want)
